Mix Up A Psyllium Cocktail

Most Americans get less than half of the recommended amount of fiber in their diet. Fiber is important for maintaining balance in your digestive system. Keep things cool with a refreshing psyllium cocktail. Each day at 4 PM mix a splash of cool, sweet fruit juice, such as apple or grape, with a glass of pure water and a teaspoon of powdered psyllium (less than $8 at most health food stores). Do not add ice. This gentle drink will give you a fresh and clear feeling.
