Healthy Breakfast Recipes: Almond and Cashew Milkshake

This shake is so nutritious you can have it for breakfast every day. No matter what the season, milk and dried fruit are great for balancing your dosha. The dried fruit strengthens your body, boosts memory and energizes the nerves. As for milk, it’s a great source of protein and energy, and it also provides calcium and vitamin D that make your bones strong. Feel free to sub in other nuts and fruits for variety!
Ingredients:
Soak the almonds in water for 2-3 hours and remove their skin. Add cashews and sugar. Grind the mix into a fine paste. Boil the milk in a saucepan with the crushed cardamom and add the almond paste. For a final touch, add rose water and garnish with saffron. Serve chilled.
