Natalie Portman Vegan Documentary to be Based on Book 'Eating Animals?'

Actor Natalie Portman condisdering documentary on vegetarianism

...based on  Eating Animals by Jonathan Safran Foer

Well, it should not come as no surprise but it seems actor Natalie Portman may create a documentary based on the popular book Eating Animals - this according to the author Jonathan Safran Foer, quoted in the French Publication The Chap.

In the interview Safran Foer is asked by the interviewer,

If you could ask any filmmaker to adapt your movie on the screen, what would it be?

Well, Natalie Portman will make a movie! She wants to make a very personal documentary. She contacted me, she told me she loved the book. I know now, I will eventually help, but it will especially his vision of her. And she is still in the beginning." (source: The Chap)

A popular actrees who first shot to fame with her appeearance in the Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace and grew it one of Hollywood's top actors with her dramatic role in The Black Swan, Natalie Portman has been a vegetarian since birth. In 2009 Natalie Portman became a vegan.

In fact, the Harvard graduate launched a Vegan shoe line called Te Casan - unfortunately the vegan shoe line never took off.
