Where are you from? What's your favorite place to travel to overseas? And what's your favorite place in America?
A:
I was born in Iran to an Iranian father and an English mother. I moved to England at the time of the Iranian Revolution, and haven’t been back since. My favorite place to travel to is India, so much so that when I go there it’s almost like I’ve come home—perhaps one day that will literally be the case should I ever decide to move there. Right now, I live in Los Angeles, as I find it’s a good place to be able to get everything done that I’m working on (like my show with Veria) but still have access to nature.
