Spa Wellness: Chocolate Mint Bath

Chocolate is a great mood booster because its scent and properties elevate levels of serotonin - a natural antidepressant. Chocolate produces endorphins in the brain that create feelings of happiness which help reduce stress. Even the smell of chocolate can have a calming effect. Mint is also prized by wellness practitioners for its relaxing qualities.
Prepare a chocolate mint bath, relax into it and breathe deeply.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup salt
- 1 cup Epsom salt
- 3 teaspoons cocoa powder
- 3 tablespoons dried, crushed mint leaves.
Directions:
Combine ingredients in a small bowl. Add to a hot bath. Enjoy.
