Cool Breeze Peppermint Foot Soak
01/17/2013 | 02:42 PM
Give yourself a foot soak after dinner for five days. The removal of toxins through foot soaking improves circulation and the body's flow of energy, leading to a more positive state of mind.
Peppermint oil is one of the world's oldest medicinal herbs and research has demonstrated that essential oil of peppermint has a relaxing, uplifting effect. Epsom salt sedates the nervous system, reduces swelling and relaxes muscles. It is made of magnesium sulfate. The magnesium helps your brain to produce serotonin - a natural mood booster.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup of Epsom salt
- 3 drops of essential oil of peppermint
Directions:
Combine Epsom salt and peppermint oil in a large tub of warm water. Soak feet for as long as desired. Rinse and dry feet.
Note: spring flowers are blooming in your area. Add flower petals (as many as you like) to your foot soak for added fragrance and beauty.
