Hard As Nails, Naturally


The mix below is excellent for strengthening your nails. Walnuts exfoliate; olive oil helps fight breakage by making nails more flexible, and castor oil boosts overall strength. Honey, on the other hand, both fights bacteria and contains high amounts of potassium, for added strength.


  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon of castor oil
  • 1 teaspoon of honey
  • 1/2 cup of shelled walnuts

Grind the walnuts into a course powder. Add olive oil, castor oil and honey to make a thick paste. Rub into hands and nails. Rinse with warm water and pat dry. Apply twice a week for best results.
