The summer sun is shining down on us and we need to safely reap its benefits while we can. The safest way to get a regular dose of sunshine is to allow yourself 20 minutes of daily sunbathing time, during which you can soak up an adequate supply of vitamin D, which boosts immunity, and helps fight off osteoporosis. Short stints in the early morning sunlight are not only safer, but are more beneficial than long-term tanning.
