Ayurvedic Diet: Afternoon Gotu Kola Tea

Gotu kola (Centella asiatica) has been used as a medicinal herb in India for thousands of years. There is impressive medical research illustrating its ability to improve memory and mental clarity. It also has a reputation for increasing vitality and energy, while being caffeine free. Each day at 4 PM for 5 days have a cup of Gotu Kola tea. Herbal Gotu Kola can be purchased cheaply at most health food stores. It is safe, good for you and tastes great.
Preparation:
1. Add 2 teaspoons of the dried Gotu Kola to 1 cup of boiling water.
2. Steep for 10 minutes.
3. Strain before drinking.
4. Sweeten with honey to taste.
