The Japanese have known about the medicinal qualities of matcha green tea since ancient times. Matcha tea improves alertness, reduces stress and elevates your mood. You can find it in any supermarket. Get creative - use the tea as an ingredient in lattes, smoothies and cupcakes. Too much can keep you awake at night, though, so don’t drink it in the evening.
