Brighten Up With Ginger Tea

Get energized and ready for anything. Ginger is known to increase circulation and can give you an energy boost, sharpen your senses and brighten your mood.
Start your day with a cup of Ginger tea (hot or iced) at 8:00 AM.
Ingredients:
- 8 cups of water
- 1/3 cup of honey
- 1/2 cup coarsely chopped ginger root
- 6 black tea bags (decaf or caffeinated)
Directions:
Place 2 cups of water, honey and ginger in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and tea bags. Steep for at least 30 minutes and up to 1 hour. Strain out solids. Combine strained liquid with 6 cups of hot or cold water. Drink hot or serve over ice.
