Iced Lemongrass And Ginger Tea

This bright, light summertime tea is a tasty take on classic green tea flavor. High in antioxidants and low in caffeine, green tea is an all-season crowd-pleaser that you can enjoy day or night. In our lemongrass and ginger green tea the essence of freshly sliced ginger works to perk you up as aromatic lemongrass soothes nerves and calms stress. We especially love to drink this tea iced (preferably outdoors and in the shade) but it's just as delicious served hot before bed.
Ingredients:
Bring water to a boil in a medium-sized saucepan. Add lemongrass, ginger, sugar and tea bags. Boil for one minute before lowering heat to a simmer. Let the tea steep for 3-5 minutes (5 full minutes for stronger flavor). Remove saucepan from heat and discard tea bags. Cover and let cool for 30 minutes. Pour mixture through a sieve or strainer into a pitcher and chill for at least 2 hours before serving.
Serves 4.
Note: If desired, strain tea immediately after removing from heat and serve hot.
