After lunch drink a cup of cumin tea. It is a gentle and safe remedy that aids digestion. Poorly digested food is toxic. To make the tea, steep 1 teaspoon of dried and gently crushed cumin seeds in 1 cup of boiling water. Let the cumin seeds steep in the water for 10-20 minutes, then strain. You can add a teaspoon of honey (not sugar) for flavor. Cumin is a very good source of Calcium, Iron, Magnesium and Manganese. This tea may be prepared in advance and reheated in a microwave.
