Many of the responses in the comment thread suggest the baby could not possibley be a 1 year old. There is not many details about the baby so it is impossible to verify.
Regardless, the young fellow is a toddler - a toddler who demonstrates a remarkable skill with the sticks.
Clearly, the baby is playing the drums along with some sort of drum track - but the coordination and skill shine through.
