Q:

What age should toddlers stop using bottles?

A:

Bottles are not simply about drinking, but are often a security and soothing tool for young children.  As with pacifiers or thumb-sucking, the age at which a child no longer relies on these soothing methods varies considerably and is very different from one child to the next.  As such, I do not think you can have one blanket answer to this question.  If you are trying to transition your child to a sippy cup or to self-soothing with other methods, try offering alternatives and options, but remember that we all have our routines and sometimes change takes time!
