Metabolism-Boosting Tea
Drink this caffeine-free tea with a high-protein meal post-workout to improve your digestion and give your metabolism an extra boost.

Ingredients
- 1 ounce dried horsetail
- 1/2 ounce dried angelica
- 1/4 ounce cardamom powder
- 1/8 teaspoon organic black pepper
- 1/4 ounce brown seaweed or wakame (about one piece)
- 1 ounce dried garcinia fruit
- 1/4 ounce dried cinnamon bark
- 1 ounce dried linden flower
- 2 or 3 pieces star anise
- 1 ounce fresh ginger root
- 1 ounce fresh dandelion leaves (or 1/2 ounce dried)
- 250 to 400 mg. carnitine powder (optional)
- 2 quarts boiling water

Combine dry ingredients in a glass jar, cover with water.
Place lid on jar, and let steep 10 to 15 minutes.
Note: This recipe is best-suited for people who must (or wish to) avoid caffeine, and the best effects are seen when it is taken after midday or evening meals. Taken no more than twice daily, this tea will not prevent or disturb sleep. Enjoy!
