Simple Sautéed Vegetables
A healthy side dish that adds color and crunch and is the perfect accompaniment to fish or poultry dishes of all kinds.
- 1-2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves, peeled and minced
- 2-3 carrots, cut into matchsticks
- 1 head of broccoli, stems and florets
- 1/3 cup water
- Sea salt, to taste
Heat oil on medium-high heat.
Add garlic and sauté one minute.
Add carrots and sauté 2 minutes.
Add broccoli and water and continue cooking until broccoli turns bright green.
Season with sea salt. Transfer to a serving dish.
