Sautéed Cabbage and Carrots with Caraway

A mixed sauté of carrots, red and green cabbage and caraway makes for a colorful, nutrient-rich side dish.

Ingredients

1/2 teaspoon caraway seeds
2 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/4 head green cabbage
1/4 head red cabbage
2 carrots, cut into thin matchsticks
Pinch of sea salt

Sauté carrots in 1 tablespoon of butter with a pinch of sea salt, 1-2 minutes.
Add cabbage and the remaining 1 tablespoon of butter.
Cover and cook on medium-low heat for 8-12 minutes (or until cabbage wilts). Garnish with caraway seeds.
