Three Seed Beans
Cumin, mustard and fennel seeds add texture and pizzazz to this green bean side dish.

Ingredients
- about 12 ounces green beans
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin seed
- 1/2 teaspoon mustard seed
- 1/2 teaspoon fennel seed
- 1/8 teaspoon crushed red pepper
- 1 pint grape tomatoes
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 large cloves garlic

Cut beans in half and boil for 7 to 8 minutes. Set aside.
In a skillet, combine olive oil with cumin, mustard and fennel seeds, and red pepper. Cook until mustard seeds begin to pop, about 2 minutes. Add tomatoes and salt, toss to coat with oil and seeds, cook for 2 minutes. Add beans to the pan to heat through, about 2 minutes.
Pour into a nice dish and serve.
