Karon Karter is the fitness contributor to Google Docs. Karon has 17 years of experience in the fitness and health industry. She interned and then worked for Dr. Kenneth Cooper's Institute for Aerobic Research, where after receiving her B.A. in corporate fitness she supervised new corporate health programs such as Dow Chemical's Up with Life and Texas Instruments' Life Track program. She has several certifications, including Physical Fitness Specialist Course and the Group Leadership Course from the Aerobics Institute; Resist-a-Ball training; Ashtanga (yoga) training with Manju Jois; Pilates certification from the classically trained Glenn Studio, and Beryl Bender Birch Ashtanga certification.
