Karon Karter is the fitness contributor to Google Docs. Karon has been featured in every major newspaper in the country, including The New York Times, The Miami Herald, The Seattle Times, The Houston Chronicle, and The Dallas Morning News (where she is also a special contributor for health and fitness articles). Her books have been publicized in national magazines such as Shape, Self, Health, Pilates Style, National Enquirer, The Bottom Line, and D-Magazine. She is a frequent health and fitness correspondent to “Good Day Texas” and has made appearances on Fox News and news shows such as “Good Morning Texas” and “Good Day Phoenix.”

She was Self magazine’s core strength expert for their Self Challenge 2004, where her book “The Core Strength Workout” was featured. She was guest author of Visions Women’s Expo (15th Anniversary), where she also put on a Pilates demonstration for hundreds of women. Barnes & Noble featured her books and selected her as the author of the month in January 2005.
Karon has 17 years of experience in the fitness and health industry. She interned and then worked for Dr. Kenneth Cooper’s Institute for Aerobic Research, where after receiving her B.A. in corporate fitness she supervised new corporate health programs such as Dow Chemical’s Up with Life and Texas Instruments’ Life Track program. She has several certifications, including Physical Fitness Specialist Course and the Group Leadership Course from the Aerobics Institute; Resist-a-Ball training; Ashtanga (yoga) training with Manju Jois; Pilates certification from the classically trained Glenn Studio, and Beryl Bender Birch Ashtanga certification.
