Ayurvedic Gift Basket Giveaway

How to Enter:
Beginning at 9:00 a.m. Eastern Time ("ET") on July 1st, 2009 until 5:00 p.m. ET on July 31st, 2009 (the "Sweepstakes Period"), you may enter the Ayurvedic Gift Basket giveaway (the "Sweepstakes") in any of the following ways: (i) online by visiting the Veria website (www.veria.com/sweeps) (the "Veria Website") and completing the online entry form (limit one (1) online entry, per valid email address, per eligible person per day); or (ii) hand printing your name, complete address, phone number (area code included) and date of birth either on a postcard or on a separate piece of paper no larger than 8½ x 11 inches, and mailing the postcard or paper in an envelope, with proper postage affixed, to: Veria Ayurvedic Gift Basket Giveaway, 138 W 25th St, 10th floor,  NY, NY 10001 (the "Mail-In Address"). Entrants using U.S. mail may enter by mailing one entry per address per person a day. Mail-in entries must be postmarked by July 31st, 2009 and received by August 15th, 2009. Limit one (1) entry per stamped outer envelope. Mechanically reproduced or hand-stamped entries or mailing labels or entries generated by script, macro or other automated means and entries by any means which subvert the entry process will not be accepted. Incorrect, illegible and incomplete entries are void. All eligible entries will be entered in the Grand Prize Drawing. When you enter at the Veria Website, you may be asked to consent to receive promotional e-mails and reminders for upcoming Veria promotions and information about Veria. Consenting to receive such e-mails is optional and does not have to be agreed to in order to be eligible to enter the Sweepstakes and does not improve your chances of winning. Proof of mailing, in person submission, or online submission is not considered proof of delivery or receipt. All entries become the property of Veria and will not be returned. A purchase will not increase chance of winning. Eligibility:
This Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the U.S. and its territories, possessions and commonwealths (excluding Puerto Rico) who are 21 years of age or older  on July 1st, 2009, except employees and members of their households, whether or not related, and immediate families (spouses, parents, siblings, children and each of their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) of Veria as the Sponsor and its parent company, subsidiaries, and affiliates, and its advertising and promotion agencies and and any other sponsors are not eligible to enter or win the prize. By entering, all participants and/or entrants release the Released Parties from and against all claims and damages arising in connection with each entrant's participation and/or entry in the Sweepstakes and/or his/her receipt or use of the prize (including any injury or harm resulting from the use of the vehicle or any travel or activity related thereto) awarded in this Sweepstakes. Any and all warranties and guarantees are subject to the respective manufacturer's terms of any of the prizes. This Sweepstakes is governed by U.S. law and is subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations. Void in Puerto Rico, outside the U.S. and where prohibited by law.

Prizes and selection:

Prizes: 
The prizes shall be: 7 gift baskets with products related to each of the following doshas: Vata, Pitta and Kapha, for a total of 21 gift baskets. Each basket shall have an approximate retail value of US$50.00, for a total of $1,050 in approximate retail value.

Prize Drawing:
The winners will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received during the entire Sweepstakes Period on or about August 21st, 2009 by the sponsor. The odds of winning each prize depends upon on the number of eligible entries received for the entire Sweepstakes Period.

Prize Winner Notification:
The Sponsor anticipates that the potential winner will be contacted in person on or about August 21st, 2009 (subject to change) via e-mail or telephone call to the contact information provided in the winning entries. The Sponsor reserves the right to randomly select an unspecified number of potential finalists for each Prize in case the initial winning entries do not have sufficient information to contact the prospective winner. Each Prize Winner may be required to execute an affidavit of eligibility and release of liability from participating in the sweepstakes and using any of the prizes, as well as publicity (where permitted by law), and return it, fully-executed, within five (5) days of date of issuance of prize notification. If any of the potential Prize Winners fails to return all requested forms fully-executed by the specified date, or if the potential Winner fails to comply with these Official Rules his/her place as a Winner will be forfeited at Sponsor's discretion and an alternate Winner for each prize may be selected, at Sponsor's sole discretion.
The Sponsor's decisions with respect to a Winner and other matters pertaining to the Sweepstakes shall be final and binding and are subject to change. Entry materials that have been tampered with or altered are void. If, in the Sponsor's opinion, there is any suspected or actual evidence of electronic or other tampering with any portion of the Sweepstakes, or if computer virus, bugs, unauthorized intervention, fraud, or technical difficulties or failures compromise or corrupt or affect the administration, integrity, security, fairness, or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes, the Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process and void any entries submitted fraudulently, to modify or suspend the Sweepstakes, or to terminate the Sweepstakes and conduct a random drawing to award the prize using all eligible, non-suspect entries received as of the termination date. Should the Sweepstakes be terminated prior to the stated expiration date, notice will be posted on the Veria Website. Any attempt by an entrant or any other individual to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, Veria reserves the right to seek damages and other remedies from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of the potential Prize Winner based on an e-mail address, the winning entry will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at time of entry and such individual will be required to comply with these Official Rules. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, educational, institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address.

General Prize Conditions:
All costs, taxes, fees, and expenses associated with a prize or the acceptance and use of any element of the prize not specifically addressed above are the sole responsibility of each winner. All federal, state, and local taxes on prize are winner's responsibility. Grand Prize Winner may be issued a 1099 tax form for the ARV of the prize. The specifics of all aforementioned elements of the prize in the Sweepstakes shall be solely determined by Sponsor. Some restrictions may apply. Prize cannot be transferred, substituted or redeemed for cash except at Sponsor's sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute the prize, or portion(s) thereof, with a prize of comparable or greater value, at its sole discretion.

Winner's List/Opt-Out Request:
Beginning on or about September 1st, 2009 you may obtain the name of the Grand Prize Winner either by going to the Veria Website (www.veria.com) or mailing a self-addressed stamped envelope to: Veria Ayurvedic Gift Basket Giveaway - Winner's List at the Mail-in Address.
