About the Host
Carolyn McCormick says hosting Backyard Boomers is a natural consequence of her lifelong passion for health and fitness. Her acting career spans a quarter of a century and the eastern half of the United States. She currently lives in Texas with her biochemist husband and two teenagers. She is represented by the Kim Dawson Agency for commercial, industrial and film/TV.
She is a series regular on Lifetime's Inspector Mom and has voiced thousands of commercials. Carolyn's theater credits include drama, comedy and musicals. She was also a founding member of Lone Star Comedy.
Carolyn has been commissioned to write and perform a live series on women in history. She also studies French, painting and singing. Her acting classes at KD Actor's Conservatory in Dallas always include a healthy dose of nutrition.
