About the Host
Jeffrey Schmidt has performed on screen and stage for over 10 years. Most recently, he was seen in the Starz Network series "Crash" as the recurring character David Egan, and the Lifetime Movie Network's series "Inspector Mom" as the recurring character, Dr. Korda.
"Prison Break" established him as a Season 2 "Fox Reporter." Jeffrey is also the host (as well as technical advisor) for the nationally syndicated home improvement show, "Your House and Home." Films include the award-winning shorts "Indefinitely" (Bare Ruined Films), "Interstate" (Innuendo Films) and "The Safety of Others" (Tooleybox Films). Jeffrey received great response for his lead role in "The Safety of Others," which recently premiered at South by Southwest and AFI Dallas. Theatre patrons in the Dallas Metroplex will remember him from the wide variety of roles he has embodied on stages such as Theatre Three, WaterTower Theatre, Kitchen Dog Theatre and The Dallas Center.
In addition to working in the areas of film, commercial, and national print campaigns, Jeffrey has lent his voice talent to everything from corporate narration and radio spots to interactive games (most notably Gearbox's "Brothers in Arms"). Jeffrey resides in Dallas and carves time between acting, directing and designing jobs for his many different hobbies and interests, especially exploring the great outdoors!
