Hemp Seed Brownies
Hemp is one of nature's most protein-rich plants. In brownies, it's also delicious. Kelly's recipe for hemp seed brownies has the added advantage of being easy to prepare. She mixes her main ingredients -- carob powder, cocoa, navy beans, agave, dates, maca, and almond milk -- directly in the food processor, and then bakes the mixture for 45 minutes. After baking, a sprinkling of hemp seeds adds crunch and even more nutritional bite. Tip: Hemp seeds are great finger foods, Kelly eats them as a snack.
