Hiking and trekking provide a much-needed break from the monotony of the gym, and the beautiful outdoor surroundings in which you do them will make you forget you’re exercising at all. This summer, take a hike or trek and get back in touch with both your body and with nature. Remember, not all exercise has to feel like hard work. Both of these forms of active exercise are excellent cardio and strength workouts that are based on the simple act of walking.
